Who am i?
Hi, I'm Cis. I'm 24 years old, born and raised in Sint-Niklaas (based in Brussels). I have a passion for arts, especially music and cinema. I have my own hiphop-project, called Ide Snake, where I write and produce my own songs. Over the years, this passion for music has developed beyond genres and media, ready to complement any project!
After completing high school at SJKS, I studied to become a French and English teacher at Odisee. Although I love teaching, my love for creation kept burning inside of me. That's why in 2022, very spontaneously, I decided to apply at RITCS for the Sound Design program. That's where my skills and knowledge have grown into ambition and passion.
What does 'sound' mean to me?
For me sound means more; it's an immersive journey into the art of film. With a passion for enhancing storytelling through sound, I bring cinematic narratives to life through soundscapes that resonate with audiences long after the credits roll...

The world demands a lot from us. That’s why you often must choose. Choose for yourself or someone, for images and sounds. In this video work, I explore the relationship between image and sound through zooming in. Look closely, because ‘dans le détail, se cache l'amour’.

Deep underground, the coal miner Mattheus and his young assistant Maël make a mystical discovery. As Mattheus dreams of a life above the ground, their bond slowly unravels. What was buried begins to surface and nothing will ever be the same.

Father and 10-year-old son, Raf and Wolf, are in the back seat of a taxi. Raf calls Wolf's mother: unexpected plans mean Wolf will have to spend another night at his father's house. A small problem, as tonight Raf has a rehearsal with the brass band of which he is conductor.
